The Writing
Essays, non-fiction, academic text, interpretation (S.O.S. Booklets), and prose offering, expounding upon, explaining, and guiding as I address every aspect of the life-experience as it is redefined in light of the metaphysical premises discussed, and reinforced by creations, traditions, functions, and archetypes from across human history. Identification of integral, meaningful patterns pervading all spirituality, archetype, and artform allow Daniel to offer new organizations for apparently amorphous and seemingly distinct messages…into approachable, comprehensible, and interconnected step-by-step processes.

Metaphysics, modern psychology, artwork, folklore, mythology, science, spirituality, our species-particularity and much more are synthesized, intertwine, and manifest in each other, illuminating functions for both Art and Religion, letting us understand their sources, nature, behaviors, purposes, potentials - qualified by these fundamental and shared aspects of our Humanity and Universe -, and so, allowing us to most readily engage them; to determine the most unique, beneficial, efficient, and sympathetic paths to their comprehension and utilization. Included in this section is a form of writing akin to “The Notebooks”, which you’ll find aptly entitled “The _ Notebook” (for example). These, like “The Notebooks”, function and include the same vast and varying range of subject, product, style, form, scope, and presentation-type…from notetaking, to declaration, to art, to proverb, to pondering and wandering, to transcription, to prose, interpretation of ancient and epic as well as tiny and contemporary, story-telling, confirming/inciting/illuminating/demonstrative experience, hermeneutics, synthesis, expounding, improvisations, experiments and beyond. The difference being that these were recorded into a computer and so find themselves with a distinct type/degree of development/editing; an inevitable reflection of the many influences of typing at a screen versus handwriting into paper; a product I thought deserved a place in “The Writing”. As is the case in “The Notebooks”, these function -among other things- as a form of notetaking, recording for future reference and reflection relevance as it appears in the immediate life-process (the moment rarely allowing much time to develop, edit, and expound upon the thought/concept/experience/idea of note which has unexpectedly arisen). As such, some sections may seem incomplete, confusing, chicken-scratchy, dizzying, dense, or lacking explanation/definition of terms. Don’t be offended or overwhelmed. Just go to the next section…that note was for me. You will find some sections quite complete and sympathetic in presentation.
